through the eyes of others

we must learn to embrace the things that God reveals to us through

others.  We may not see what God has  instore for us until we learn

to take off the  blinders and see the people that God has put in our

paths when we need someone the most.  At times we may not

realize at the time we are in despair or in need to feel better about

ourselves, God may open our eyes through other people that enter

our lives at that special  moment when we need to feel better.

God has a way to use our circumstances to help those that are going

through a tougher time.  May the Lord bring blessings on this Word.

The Daunting task of a Struggling Author

The daunting task of a struggling author is a task that many authors

may face in this world of writers who struggle to stay afloat. As a

writer myself I have found that the task of staying a float is very

difficult at times, because of the overwelming desire to just

give up and not to write any more books. When is it the time to

say, I did all I can and I am not going any where with my book and

just give up? How much time do you spend on advertising, promoting,

marketing your book only to find you are just spinning your wheels?

The daunting task that many authors will spend their life savings

trying to make it to the best sellers list. Why is new authors

write their first book and end up on the best sellers list while

others struggle to just sell a few copies? How many copies of

books can you sell just to break even or just enough to pay your

bills? How much money will you spend on different advertising,

marketing plans, etc. before it is time to call it quits?

Reason why I wrote this book!

I feel that this passage of Scripture reflects
the reason why I wrote this book. 6. We do,
however, speak a message of wisdom among
the mature, butnot the wisdom of this age,
who are coming to nothing. 7. No, we speak of
God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been
hidden and that God destined for our glory
before time began. 8. None of the rulers of this
age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord
of glory.9. However ,as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love
him" - 10. but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things of God.
11. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the
same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  12. We have not
received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God has freely given us. 13. This is
what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit,
expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 14. The man without the Spirit does not accept
the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot
understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15. The spiritual man makes
judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: 16. For who
has known the mind of theLord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Author and poet Harel R. Lawrence invites readers along with him on a
spiritual journey with his book of poetic reflections, Take a Closer
Look: A Spiritual Journey into the Soul (published by AuthorHouse),
powerful examination of faith, love and spirituality that will opens readers’ eyes to God’s presence in their everyday lives.
Challenging readers to walk in truth and light, Take a Closer Look conveys the enduring truth that in spite of adversity, there will always be hope, love and peace for God’s children. Lawrence captures the constant persistence of faith in our lives with “Sharing the Light with Others”, featured here in excerpt:

Are our lives so different that we can only find the light in certain people.
Must we look farther than the stars to see the light in others? If our lives
are so different, the light we shall see will be different too. It is not the light
that makes us different, because the light gives us the strength to go on.
As we shall follow this path, we will all see the light together and our lives
will be the same, even though we are different in ways we cannot
describe. Later in life it will not be different, so we must not be confused
and turn away, because of the way we see others. We share the light with
them by opening our hearts and letting light in. Then the light will be
stronger than one person could see alone.

Be true with compassion!

May the glory of the Lord bless you that your heart be true with compasssion, may your footsteps be a path of true beauty , walk in the light of His glory so that you will listen to the whisper of a child's heart in the wind. May your compassion be true to those that are in despair. May the wind whisper in your ear the prayers of those who are in need of your heart. May the Lord speak to your heart and whisper the words of compassion. As the days be filled with joy so will the hearts of those that have true compassion. May the mountains carry the voices up to the heavens with the love of those that seek His name on most high. The rivers that flow so peaceful through the valleys and the rushing of the waters that will break your spirit with great compassion. May your tears be filled with drops of love and compassion for those that are feeling sad.

Do not be complaisant in thy walk

My divine messenger and thy servant do not be complaisant in your walk so that ye would lose your first love. Adhere to thy word for your peace of mind and bring ye strength to ye faith. Take thy message to thy heart as a warning that thy walk is stagnant. Be sure that thy heart stays true to thy word and thy first love is not lost to those who will lead ye to stray. There are those who have fallen away and are complaisant in their walk and are very stagnant in their growth of thy faith. For thy faith to stay true, and thy first love would stay strong according thy
word. One must examine thy walk and ask for thy help from thy brethern in faith. Stand firm together in thy word and rebuke thy complaisant and thy stagnant walk. For thy brethern adhere to thy first love as a focus to those that seek your guidance and be humble and understanding. Thy knowlege that ye know comes from thy faith, as thy teacher and thy servant will surely walk in thy light. As thy servant and thy messenger ye are not weak, just stay focus on thy walk and not fall away.

Walk in the light of day.

As we walk in the Spirit, thy light of day will shine forth the glory of power that shall

bestowed upon thy servant. Walking in Spirit is walking in truth knowing that God

will never leave you nor forsake you. As one that is in Spirit will become one. My divine messenger

as you walk in light will also walk in Spirit and you shall adhere to the wisdom that

bestowed upon you. Walk in the Spirit as one walks in love and not show any blemish towards your

brothers and sisters as love that be waken by your great passion towards others. In the light of day

one shall fathom the concept of knowing and understanding the truth that has set you apart from

others.
